  • isn't this normally $60 straight from the AU PSN store?

    • +1

It's a US subscription. The Australian PS Plus is $69.95 per year. Coles have 20% off PS cards at the moment so effectively brings it down to just under $56 a year.

    • Around $70 normally.

    356 days? :P

    • Christmas does not exist.

oops, thanks for spotting that. corrected now. I just brought Christmas back.

    • +3

Correct, because the 9 days are public holidays and the only time us workaholic Australians will have time to play games.

  • Where can I find the cheapest AU PSN sub? Mine expired today

    • +2

      Here you go: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/212004
You spend $72 to get $90 in PSN, use $70 on PS+ and have $20 left over. So you're paying $56 for a year.

      • Oh nice, thanks for the help!

      • No thats more like it :D awesome. Cheers. Just in time for my renewal.

  • newbie here, so I heard its better to get a US PSN account due to better deals, which I did. My question is, so now if I want to play online I need to buy the PS Plus US (this one) not the Au from dick smith/coles. Secondly, is there any difference in connection speed/gameplay between PS Plus US and AU? Thank you

    • Yeah, if you have a US PSN account, you'd need to subscribe to PSN Plus with the US PSN Plus card. I haven't noticed any difference in connection speed between US and AU accounts, but if you're concerned about that, there is a way to also play your US games on an AU account. Just google "Activate as primary PS4" for instructions. Set the PS4 as primary for your US account. You should then be able to log in using an AU account to still play all the games bought under the US account.

  • Haven't logged into PSN for about 6 months…
Bought 1 year sub from this eBay store of G2A's…
Still haven't logged into PSN at this point (was planning on adding the code later).

Within an hour I got a "Change Password" email from Sony.

So I'm thinking G2A are doing something dodgy linking my email address from my purchase to my PSN account….

    • I bought a card from them and received the activation email within a few minutes. Didn't get any "change password" email from Sony. I haven't used the code yet, got a few weeks yet before my current subscription expires.

      • No I got my actual code off them instantly.

My issue is that I got an email from Sony as if I'd tried to change my password very shortly after buying this when I hadn't logged into PSN in months.
