  Anyone tried this? How many DVDs can one reasonably expect to receive in a month? (I've read that other similar services put artificial delays in place to limit the number of movies you can get)

    Note that even if you remember, you're probably out of luck. If the last day of the month is a weekend, or if you think you can unsubscribe online, or if you think you can call after you get home from work, or if you think their paltry catalogue is going to be worth the hassle… Well, good luck with that.

        Ifyou have a smartphone, just set a reminder alarm to cancel 24 hours before your month is up ;-)

      Took a couple of fails to work out a system fo such things

      Sign up via system then set a calender alert through gmail to send me reminders about 2 weeks prior to the cancellation

  Also for free - 1 month Netflix, 1 month Presto and 1 month Stan. If you really want a physical disc that badly, JB is dirt cheap and ship for $1 per item. Probably still works out cheaper than getting slugged the second month at Quickflix.

  Used to have quickflix a few years ago. They never sent me the new movies or the top choices in my list, it was always the older movies or bgrade movies that were sent out. Always seemed to manage to have no movies over the weekend due to slow post or movies not sent out until they received the one you sent.
  I wouldn't use them again. Thank goodness for Netflix
