Is the Ipad Mini 2 a good price? I am not really into Apple products, only owned an Ipod from 5 years ago.
They are currently $369 at the Apple shop. The technology is 2 years old, but it is a retina display and I use mine just about every day for weather, games, reading the newspaper, searching the internet and even looking at Ozbargain.
Do you have any other tablets? I had one a while back but sold it as I have a surface pro 3 and note 4. However thinking of getting one to play around with ios9 as this is such a good price. Do you only use yours at home?
No this travels with me everywhere. It fits into my bum bag and I use it in Cafes, on the tram, etc. I do The Age cryptic crossword each day and read the articles. Have a look at the Apple shop and see what apps you would be interested in.
Fair enough. I drive to work/uni and prefer to use my phone as it has data. When I had my ipad I found I was not using it other than occasional web browsing/watching videos in bed.
Anyone reckons the ipad mini 2 will come down in price? Thinking of getting one as a Christmas gift.

Not sure why you're downvoted, it's a legitimate question. The recent iOS9 freed up a lot of space compared to previous iOS versions. That being said, you really can't have more than 2 movies on here and want to store pics/music. If you're cloud based then I guess it's ok.
iPad 2 for $275 seems ok as I'm going overseas soon . It should be ok for checking emails and surfing the net
Using a Galaxy Tab S 10.5 4G os at the moment…full bottle device with beautiful camera/display…just love it…about $500 if you look around. Google is so amazinly intuitive, it actually took all my travel bookings fron gmail and mapped them into both calendar and maps. Amazing…
