  • BIDMAS

    I thought it was BODMAS

    Go from Zero to Hero!

Cool. My maths superpower would be to be able to divide by zero.

    • +1

I is actually more logical as it stands for index where as O is usually for "order" of power.. kinda loses its meaning to have "order" in an "order of operations"

    • Divide by zero like a wrecking crew

806 page shortcut to maths success, this is going to blow the 807 page folk right out of the water.

806 page shortcut? How long is the full journey?

      • +3

It says 15 years. So you would have to start around Kindergarden.

    • Well, the author spends a lot of time on some rather strange analogies, in some parts even employing analogies to explain the analogies. He also has a large section of the book devoted to how he was superior to everyone in high school, and never really wanted to be invited to their parties anyway.

The actual math content is around 15-20 pages

The Only Truly Painless Way To Learn And Unlock Maths

I dunno about the rest of you guys, but the thought of having to go through 800+ pages on Maths gives me a bloody headache.

      Plus that

Don't be so negative about it :)

I know right, it just doesn't add up for me…

    • let's hope the font size is 72 and the page is A5.

    • +1

I know right? Maybe if they just subtract all the BS from the book it'd equal less headaches.

Has anyone actually read the book! Is it really worthwhile? There are no Star Ratings on Amazon.

I read the preview and was underwhelmed with "multiplication is really just repeated addition - 5 x 3 is adding 5 together 3 times". Surely everyone was taught that?

Division of course is just repeated subtraction.

I won't vote negative but I am amazed at all those who have upvoted this deal without actually reading the book.

free books are for collecting, not reading

      • Until you got nothing better, then start flipping it… and told yourself I read it

  • I actually need this! One goal in life is to become a decent human calculator

    • Thought you're in OZB, you already are human calculator…

  • Does anyone know a quick and simple way of accessing this as a PDF?

    • Calibre ebook reading software can convert kindle to pdf with a plugin.

      • Thanks for the reply - ill look into it - cheers!
