The 1 tb is apparently shipping with the old hardware. There is a new model that is more power efficient that's only 500 gb at this stage (though I don't know if the console in this deal is that new model or the old one)…

The standard auction is $478. So you either pay $478 and get $50 eBay voucher or you do the group buy for $400 (no voucher with group buys).

Last time there was a group buy on the Gopro Hero 4 from dicksmith I got the $50 voucher with that. Also we were able to use a 10% code from UK ebay I think.

I'm not sure you can find out whether the deal is valid by buying, I bought a $150 item from supercheap and had no confirmation from eBay that I was eligible for the offer.
earlier groupbuy deals where clearly marked as $50- voucher included. maybe they forgot to add it to the listings. im sure it will work,
sell Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars for 50 dollars on ebay for gumtree or even facebook groups, $340 all up with cash rewards and then voucher just to spend on something else if you get the voucher.
Ok bought one. I intended to TRS-ed this one, so it brings down total cost to $354. Not bad at all considering I also got $50 ebay voucher.

Vouchers aren't sent out until October 1st. AFAIK there is no confirmation of voucher after purchasing something. I at least didn't receive confirmation after spending $150 at supercheap.
No confirmation, you just need check available voucher on your MyEbay.
