Edit; Unless it's 10 for 5c. I can't check the catalogue and if so that's cheap and I will offer humble apologies and reverse my vote (how do I do that?)
Further edit; I see from the duplicate post catalogue photo it is indeed 10 for 5c. They say talk is cheap, now writing is too ;)If it's 1 x 48pg then I don't bother to waste my time to post mate!

It's a pity that such crappy quality stuff is bought for kids to use at school. I appreciate that every $ saved is important for some families, but the quality of the paper in these cheap exercise books is woeful. The paper is very thin and ink from one side of the page soaks through. It makes it very difficult for the kids to keep their work neat and makes it impossible for the teachers to engender a sense of pride in the kids to maintain a neat standard of work.
Agreed, nowday all products are crap & poor quality.
I like Tutdor brand from OfficeWorks. Good quality with relatively low price. (Also aussie made)

Went in today and bought 10 for 5cents.
They're priced at 5 cents each, but the discount is applied at the register once the 10th book is scanned.
Was working at Coles yesterday and was surprised to see about 3 people buy this deal in 6 hours. However, this morning I couldn't find any left on the shelf. * Shrugs *

well techniqually this is cheapper than big w/woolies since u get more pages but these 48 page books are a pain in the butt to use they're so short, start using one the next thing u know u need a new book
but +ve none the less
