Tonight Geekbuying has a mini hexacopter on sale that is perfect for beginners. What makes this hexacopter different to a quadcopter is that it has extra propellers which gives it more stability, mobility and power, so you're able to perform all kinds of flips and 3D rolls.

In true Ozbargainer fashion I've managed to get an extra $1 off from the already onsale price of $18.89 from $20.75 ;)

Please check out Geekbuying's Coupon Zone for their weekly deals!

  • I can't tell if the battery is removable …doesn't appear to be…

    • It's not.

      • +1

        That doesn't make sense.
How did it get in there in the first place?

        • +3

It was once movable, but now it's unmoveable and unremovable.

Those lyrics would make a good song.

        • thanks for clearing that up.
almost got something stuck in the window again. ;)

        • Same way iphone battery gets in there, manufacturer installs then seals it?

          but they are removable…

        • @jv: Buy one and demonstrate to us how you'll remove it.

lots of videos already on youtube…

        • @jv:

Batteries in iphones are not removable, because the act of attempting to remove will most likely result in your destroying or ripped cables and other components due to the fact its all glued in.

Removable implies that you can remove the battery in less than minute without specialist tools and knowledge.

Apple store removed mine and replaced the battery last year…

          @jv:

That's the point they removed it, not you., and they didn't do it for free.

When people hear removable it basically means anybody can do it easily when they want too without tools.

      • I only mentioned this because i did see a variant of this hex that supported removable batteries but i havent gotten around to buying that one.

  • Operation Time 5 mintues

    • What did you expect 5 hours ?

Thats why i asked about removable batteries that way you could charge up a few and swap out as necessary.

      • JV picked up on the typo "mintues".

  • I have an Eachine H8 mini (rebranded JJRC H8). There is a new app called Getone where you can buy it for USD $9.99 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aukey.mobiā€¦
Don't have any experience with the app, but the H8 is really great, removable battery, spare parts etc.

I wouldn't trust them. They had malware in their app on release.
