I recently went to Sydney and wanted to get a flash haircut - because why not? I found Detail For Men online and with a bit of googlefu I found the previous oz bargain link here.
I booked using the link not knowing if it would still work for a complimentary cut.

Well it worked. At no point did I ask whether it was free, nor did they use the magic word "complimentary". But when i went to pay the only thing they charged me for was hair product that I also picked up.
So if you're brave - and able to shell out 70 odd bucks if they do charge you, then go for gold

    I remember this came out a few years ago and I went. It was great. But I freaked out when they asked me to pay! Then I said I had a complementary cut and they were like…. ok… ok then.

    ive had this hair cut around 6 times and its ok, the girls are good looking, you get a free beer.

      Didn't work for me either. I thought it was just Safari on my phone. I liked them using the Fb app and that was sufficient

    I went there once and, probably upon learning I was getting it for free (which she smirked at and said no more to me for the rest of the cut), I was told that my current hair was cut terribly because they used clippers instead of scissors (???) and that it would take about 3 or 4 cuts to make it decent…and that I "shouldn't expect to see much of a difference in this first one".

    Needless to say I didn't go back.
