Going to post my usual warning for this company:

Check the reviews everywhere and decide if you want to risk dealing with them:

    http://www.productreview.com.au/p/games-paradise.html

Their facebook page was filled with more of the same stories, was deleted for a while, appears to be back now. See the comments on their posts about people asking where their order is:
    https://m.facebook.com/GamesParadiseAustralia

You can find even more of the same story by searching reddit and boardgamegeek.

    My personal experience:
It took 3 months for them to provide a refund, during which time they ignored my requests, only when I got in contact with NSW fair trading (who then called games paradise) did i get the money back.

Can I suggest supporting a fellow Ozbargain member whose recent post was quite popular and was pretty responsive in answering questions etc … https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/209473 Pie Face $42 shipped ($32 plus $10 shipping). Also indicated in last post that pickup after hours was available for free in Oakleigh area (Melbourne) Direct link … http://www.gameology.com.au/products/pie-face

    • That guy seemed pretty decent. +1

I ordered two games from GP last month and after 3 weeks and a couple of emails asking to cancel the order, they were sent out.

Honestly don't know how they can operate with such consistency!

I am still waiting on an order from 2 months ago with no contact from the company. Avoid!!!

I can also report the same experience with Games Paradise. Made a significant order ($150) of stuff supposedly in stock, and took months to get my money back after heaps of attempts at contact. I had no luck with phone calls or most of their email addresses (e.g. customerservice@). It was only when I found some employee addresses for toysparadise somewhere that I got through to someone who gave me a refund.

If you buy from them, use PayPal.

However I am glad you posted this as I missed the post about gameology and will now check them out.

    • Any chance you have record of those email addresses? :)

The one that replied was vee@ toysparadise.com.au

        I also tried anton@ and miles@

        Good luck!

        • Legend. Thank you!

  • yep my mum ordered some games from these monkeys and had the same issues. Was messed about for months with 'about to ship', 'shipping this week' replies before being told it was then on order from the US, then out of stock .. they only refunded once she said she was going to the ACCC .. after about 4 months.
