Unrelated, but your channel comment got me thinking…
I remember in the early days (before GEM, 7Mate etc) we did have limited HD on the major channels, or the secondaries which were mostly mirroring the primary channels anyway.
Since then content may have grown but quality sure has gone backwards. That was over 10 years ago, kinda sad. I guess we should be grateful we get the variety we get for free, but still!… :)
Click_it i know man, im only a teen but i remember back in the day there was only 5 channels and simpsons used to have a 6pm timeslot on ten now its on eleven and a bunch of crap has been added its sad to think what could have been.
Refresh rates on TVs are not the same as monitors.
Does anyone know how this Group Deal works? If you buy now, is the order sent now or only after the Group Deal finishes? I wonder whether they have the stock now or only order it after the Deal finishes?
In the past orders were sent after the group deal finishes and it looks like that is the case with this one. You can click buy now and see the estimated delivery time (it doesn't actually buy it or commit you to it until you pay). It will display:
Est. delivery between Thu. 24 Sep. - Thu. 1 Oct.
@hamza23
Thanks, appreciate your help.
Is this an entry level TV or mid range?
How does this offer stack up against the upcoming Aldi 65" monster @ $1199?
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/209684I would go for TCL rather, korean product is not that reliable as my experience
Higher Refresh rate > higher resolution.
After using a 144 Hz monitor and 200 hz TV as my daily drivers, I can't go back.
This is a good deal. Australia still doesn't stream HD TV in its major channels. I think SBS does and the secondary channels like GEM and 7mate do, though.
