This torch has the standard maglite light bulb - NOT the LED version

I know its a bit of a draw back, the standard bulbs are pretty average for both candle power and battery consumption - but for this price its good value for a genuine maglite.

4 D Cell Duracell brand battery's are included with the torch.

Can confirm these in two VIC safeway stores, a fair few in stock.

MOD: seems to be vic only so far, have added "vic?" - tbc

    i couldnt see the whole video, because im on crappy net. There used to be a maglight ad where a semi trailer drove over a maglight, then stopped and picked it up and it worked. Anyway a friend tried it irl and the maglght still works

  Hmmm, excellent deal, however i just got back from my local woolies (in perth). I basically picked the item off the shelf, took 'er to the self check out and scanned it and it was bloomin' $34.99!!! Outraged i literally put the whole pack on the floor and made off like a bandit. Wonder if she is still sitting on the floor?

  who cares if its the 'old style' globes?!?!

  i got one of these badboys 10 years ago and I'm still on the original globe… plus its got a backup globe in the rear end.

  Went to local Woolworths in regional NSW. Plenty of stock with no price so I asked someone to scan one and still 34.99 :( Well done to anyone that gets one.

  When I saw them before Xmas they were hanging at various points around the supermarket, but not the battery/torch section!

  Even at $35 these torches were approx half the retail price of this torch in conventional retailers.

    Probably not below cost, in Costco in the US, they had a LED version of the 4D and a 2AA for $25USD, and its their normal pricing.

  just went to mount waverly, rowville and FTG safeways and they were all 34.99.
