Thanks. Have been waiting patiently for Target to release the pricing on the Limited Edition and they haven't disappointed.

    • Exactly the same situation here. This catalogue was a nice Sunday surprise.

  • Does anyone know if Target is selling the Tearaway Special Edition with the plushie? I think I saw it in store but my eyes may have fooled me.

  • There is a ozbargain watermark when you share the file on Facebook atleast…

    • Why do you have to give credit for a catalog?

      • +1

lol you don't. I was just being silly. I will fix that now ;)

Aren't all amiibos other than wooly yoshi $17?

    • Are Nintendo gonna release the Mega yarn yoshi to Australia?

      • Yeah, EB Games have it listed at $59.95

        • That's a MEGA price for a mega amiibo…

What are the dimensions of the 'plush'?

  • Can you get your EB pre orders price matched?

    • +1

Yep, just pre-order and then on release day you price-match when you pick it up. Anything extra you've paid off above the price-match they'll just refund.

      • Thank you

    • Generally yes, but there have been reports on Whirlpool of some EB stores being super fussy and refusing to price match, especially with Amiibos.

  • I'm so heart broken.. I pre-ordered the limited edition for $89.95. But if I price match to $79 then I loose my pre-order bonus (fridge magnets).
ARE MAGNETS WORTH THE $10? Ughh..

    • +3

      for the most part no…

    • I'm going to try and price match on pick up day at EB (click and collect) and risk the possibility of having to pay $10 extra.

If the limited edition (most likely) sells out you will be paying a lot more than $10 extra on Fleabay :(

    • Did you pre-order online? My EB is pretty good and will price match anything on pick up, but I pre-ordered instore.

    • $69 at Big W :)

      • +1

Target will match it before it comes out :)

        • I hope so!

        • +1

@Donatello: Yeah they are pretty good when it comes to games now :)

        • still 79 online, wonder if they have dropped instore

        • @skian:
My Target refused to price match BigW.

        • @SickDmith:
AFAIK, Target don't have a price matching policy (unless it has changed since then).
I went to Big W instead.

  • Yay, was expecting SMM deals to pop up!

  • My Eb have no dramas on price matching on pre orders

  • Damn I wish I didn't preorder it with ozgameshop. Anyone know if they will refund my preorder? I didnt see anything in the FAQ on their site.

    • Yeah I cancelled mine last night send them a email and they will fix it up

  • My Eb have no dramas on price matching on pre orders

  • Is anyone else missing the option to pick up instead of ship when pre-ordering on ebgames's website?

    • Pretty sure in store pickup isn't available within a week of the release date

      • ok thanks, ill try my luck in store. Big W and Target usually have too much stock anyway so i should be right.

  • Price matched big w at EB on preorder. They had lots a magnet packs price tagged at $0.01. They are probably giving one away for each copy sold…

  • Picked it up from target and the guy said I was only the 2nd person to get the game today. Surprising.

    • +3

Everyone else went to BigW. :)

      • Hahaha!

CBF with Target's non existent price matching policy. Decided to go elsewhere. XD

      • Yeah I dont normally care about amiibos so didn't even think about it but now that I realise the value I'm going to try to see if I can return and Buy at bigw. The game wasn't sealed so should be returnable.

      • Yup they were sold out on Sunday. Ah well I'll have to forego the amiibo. It would've been my first one.

  • Pre-ordered the limited version with Amiibo from JB hifi, picked up today and they price matched BigW for $69 happy with that.

  • Managed to price matched the classic Mario amiibo at EB Games with Kmart's $15 price.
