Just bought a copy of Saints Row 2 pre-owned from JB @ Bondi, Sydney for $20.

This is off my memory, might be some others. Check in your local JB store as preowned stock fluctuates and is not necessarily available in all stores.
Last time I checked (Which was 1-2 months ago), EB only deal with store credit for trade-in.
True to a degree. You can get cash, but you'll get 20% less cash than if you get store credit. Note: I don't think you can get cash at all in NSW.

OK then. You go buy your brand new games for over double the price. After using it once, its identical (for trade-in or resale) no matter whether u bought it preowned or new.
Depends, JB normally check whether the disc is scratched or not and for PS3 owners, their games are very very hard to scratch because they are blu-ray. The majority of my games are pre-owned, and it's like as if they are new.
So wait, this is like a Sydney only, that store only, thing right? I called 3 stores in Melbourne and that price is not the same…
Not sure how JB pricing works for preowned games, I only checked the Bondi store, sorry.
