That netbook sleeve / usb hub / mini mouse deal for $5 delivered is sweet too…grabbed one last week:

    https://www.jbhifi.com.au/computers-tablets/all-computers--t…

    • Thought the Mac batteries might be cheap too…? Dunno not a mac guy!

  • Thanks. Got a switch.

  • Trying to find out if the glasses are compatible with my old Samsung PS51D550 bargain from many many moons ago - anyone know? Online searches don't seem to help me much, they don't list a PS series strangely - all say PN or PDP or something :(

    • Same for a 2011 Panasonic TV, i think i remember reading that LG's work with the Pana's? Anyone know?

    • If you check the link I posted below you will find *D550 listed under year 2011. The glasses listed here only work with year 2010 models.

  • Switch sold out

  • Keep getting error when trying to add the Toshiba 3D glasses to cart, anyone else have any luck?

    • Site seems broken to me, can't add any products to cart.

    • Same here adding the switch in Chrome and IE

  • I'm also getting an error

  • Get error with the switch…only very few stock i believe…

    • Does it with all products for me.

      • Yes…found out that all the products in JB hifi website (including their online shop) are with errors
Then I believe there's an error out there..hmm…

  • Same here, looks like it got ozbargained :)

  • At $9 (apparently shipped?) I'll bite on the switch. Having problems trying to add anything on JB HIFI to shopping cart also. Hoping the site comes good and allows me to place the order soon!

Switch has previously been discussed here

  • Anyone know if those Toshiba glasses will work for my Toshiba TV I bought here 3 years ago? Deal link is here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/75491

      compatible with Toshiba’s 3D TV WL700A and WL800A series

      Toshiba 40TL868G 40" 3D Internet LED TV

      Not likely I'd guess

      • Oh is it the model number that dictates whether it works or not? I remember looking at one point and read some glasses were cross-compatible with other models. Oh well no big deal, was just curious.

        Thanks Spackbace!

  • Thanks grabbed a switch, was going to grab a TP-Link but this is a bit cheaper.

  • It's working now. Switches are still in stock…at least when I bought one.

Why would anyone buy 3d glasses - theres no 3d content to watch.

    • +2

There's plenty of 3D blurays, and also 3D gaming.

      • -1

Name a few 3d blurays that are actually 3d enuff of the way thru ?

        • I don't personally watch 3D movies on my TV as my active LCD glasses tend to make me a bit queezy due to the refresh rate of the lenses, (prefer cinema 3D which is polarised lens and doesnt flicker) but there are a bunch of blurays available at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Blu-ray_3D_releases

I reckon Pixar movies are quite good in 3D, but its a matter of preference, some people also have problems seeing 3D as they actually have eye conditions such as astigmatism etc.

    • Tainted with whiteboard markers then you have cool sun glasses.

  • Also picked up a switch, thanks OP.

  • Got 1 too. Thanks.

  • Grabbed a switch and netbook bundle.
I think I even have a use for the switch to connect a few devices near the TV.

    Switches are all gonski now.

    • Right when it starts working again…

Mac battery for which versions of the macbook pro? I got the 2008 edition.

    • Does your battery have any identifiers?

      • I just opened my macbook pro, the model number on the battery is A1322

        • +1

Then it's not 1 of the 3 on sale

          The 3 are:
          MB772G/A
          MA348G/A
          MB771G/A

From what I can see they're for ~2008 Macs

        • @Spackbace: Sweet, thanks for info! :)

    • I'm also interested to know. I have a macbook pro 2011, wondering if I can use this new battery.

      • +1

f it i bought it anyways

      • Doesn't look like it although maybe you can pull the internal battery out?

  • Bought the macbook pro battery, not sure if it is compatible with my 2010 13" though.

    • Nope these appear to be for ~2008 Macs

      • Bummer, I didn't want to miss out on the deal, so ended up buying it. Anyway, hopefully I can return it for something.

      • sweet, my old 07 mbp needs a fresh battery. cheers op
hopefully they are legit Apple batteries

    • Looks like they've run out.

Got a 1st gen 2006 MBP. Would be keen to see if this fits in. Please let me know how you guys go.

  • There's a whole heap of $h1t listed here https://www.jbhifi.com.au/features/factory-scoop

    • Second link in post.

The Samsung 2* Series glasses work ONLY with year 2010 model TVs

I was burned with the ones posted a few days ago

    source: http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber/popup/iframe/pop_trouble…

    • Yup I'm with you … got 4 pairs for the kids (2 each just in case)

Remembered current model was SSG-5 something so similar enough I thought… checked compatibility after I got them, every other model in that chart would have been fine with my tv…such is the way… least its only $23 down the drain. Might just chuck them up on ebay… staring price of 20 as they are still going for $50 a pair… albeit unlikely those one will sell.

  • I ordered the Samsung kids glasses. I hope my old PN50C7000 is a 2010 model.

  • Mac battery links are 404'd
