  • funny that the review shows that it was $63 from JB :P

"Aussies can pick them up at JBHifi for AU$63."

  • +1

I have a pair and here are my drawbacks:
    - too bass heavy. I listen to a lot of chillout/ambient and it doesn't work. Sounds flat and muffled. Stay away.

    • 3m cable great for a desk, massive pain on the go

    • ear cups are a bit too small for my head (I'm bigger than average, but not a massive bloke)

    • they're $40. Don't expect them to compare to a $100 pair.

  • Didn't realise these were still sold!

Back in the day (around 10 years ago) these where hard to beat for a bang-for-buck closed headphone. Not the greatest by any means, but a lot better than the Sony/Philips etc of the same price.

These days…I'm not so sure. There are so many good options out there now. incipient's post is on the money for what these are like. They also 'clamp' quite a bit so aren't comfortable for long periods of use.

Still, not a bad deal since you get two pairs I guess. They are easy to drive too, so can be used with pretty much any device.

I'd suggest anyone looking to buy headphones (regardless of budget) to check out http://headphones.com.au/

Australian company, specialised in headphones, competitive pricing and free shipping (I don't work for them, just a happy customer).
