I think this is a pretty good price for Sheridan Towels. I bought 5 and that comes to $11.99 each ($50 + $9.95)

  Great price, we bought these at $12 in store last year around June and thought it was a bargain. I have heard that Sheridan's factory outlet products are of a slightly lower quality compared to the mainstream product you get at Myer or a Sheridan boutique. The towels we bought do feel slightly coarser but the towels work just as well and the price was right.

    Wow is that true? I went in to the Sheridan outlet store last weekend and did notice that the towels didn't feel as plush as what I felt in Myer too.

    It is a factory outlet, isn't the point of these to sell old season products and products that didn't meet the standards to be fit for sale at the normal RRP?

      yes you are right that the original concept of the factory outlets was to sell out of season stock. Some of the businesses found that their factory outlets are making decent coin and actually have product lines specifically for the outlets. Pretty sure I read an article about it somewhere. This is not just Australia but if you visit outlets in the US, some of the famous clothing brands have outlet-specific product lines which feel different. The designs and workmanship are still really good and sometimes that trumps a slight dip in comfort level.
