      I used the receipt and price matched in another JBhifi
      They said it is $2xx under stock price, so ya, they do price match

        i tried at 2 stores in vic but not successful. one of them said i ask my friend to buy another in that store and pickup at this place (i told them my friend bought at that price)

    Damn…. any way to claim back a refund on the full price I paid, and get them to match?

    I've paid, but haven't collected on the tv yet

    Edit: staff said it was some sort of vip or staff discount, and his boss wont allow them to match it on that

  Can confirm that JB Mt Ommaney (QLD) price matched this. Was able to do slightly better by getting weekday delivery ($39).

  Ok guys. I think I did awesome today. Managed to get the last one at JB Rockhampton for $2450! Also paid extra $240 for a total of 5 year warranty bringing total to $2690.

  Set it up and we love it.

  Tried 4 stores in VIC and can confirm that none of them pricematching the 24xx receipt, they even told me that the receipt is fake (which I don't believe) and many have come to the store mentioning the exact same receipt, haha!

  Also all the curve haters, it's not that bad once it's all going. I went to store first and was thinking it was going to be terrible. But honestly you don't even notice it. If all things were equal, would have got a flat but at this price it doesn't matter.

  JB castle hill matched this for me yesterday reluctantly at $2435

  Also another guy bought 2@$2500 each, so there's plenty of room to move for these guys.

        Manager said he knows of that deal and it was one off and cannot disclose the reasons why it was heavily discounted.

        There was no reasons.i showed them the receipt posted earlier. They rang the store of the original receipt, a few of them gathered around and finally agreed to it. They tried to BS their way out of it, but for some reason gave it to me.i got nothing to hide to a fellow ozbargainer.

        @bo279: the store manager was mumbling at start and then got very loud and I knew he is trying to get around and not pass on any credit. He also said we price beat competition and the receipt was theirs. I just did not pursue the matter any further

  Jb hi fi castle hill now selling 55 inch Samsung UHD flat screen 200hz quad core processor at about $2200. Can't remember exact price. Few guys here were after flat screen and some were after 200 Hz. Thought of letting u guys know.
