  • ELI5 this is the stuff OzB gets excited over?

    • +3

Apparently yes for the people who need protein.

    • Damn no edit function, I mean to ask WHY it is so?

      • +5

Because this is quite a popular and reputable brand of protein powders from an industry that has been plagued in recent years from protein spiking.

        • Yep one that will test their raws with an independent lab

  • +2

Good protein and tastes good, and actually mixes in milk quite well so no blotches of flavour goes in your mouth

    • That's what she said.

  • How big are the bags? How many flavors can I mix?

Still have ~3KG of WPC but this looks pretty cheap for Gold WPI.

  • Apologies - 27.96 per KG, very good price and better than Bulknutrients by a large margin.

  • +3

I've gone through more brands than i can count and i always come back to this. Simply the best product on the market imo.

    • Thanks for your insight nomoneynoproblems, I'm taking ON Gs Whey too and loving it. But I haven't tried others as you have.

      1. How does bulk nutrient WPC or WPI compares to ON GS Whey?
      2. What are your favourite flavours for ON Whey? I've only tried Double Rich Chocolate & that's really tasty
      • +1

In terms of mixing and taste, hands down ON. Dont get me wrong BN taste good too but for some reason i find that it is a tad too sweet and taste artificial. Like as if a batch of sweetener was dumped into a container and mixed by a machine. Where as the ON taste like it was made that way the from the start. (if that makes sense) I've also found that nothing beats it for mix ability. You literally shake it a couple of times and it is smooth as silk. I have tried so many different brands that you need a blender to get the consistency right. BN isn't so bad but i did have clumps even after giving it a good shake.

I enjoyed the vanilla flavour but always go back to double rich choc - Can't go wrong.

Rocky road taste pretty damn good… You will be going back for seconds and mixes amazingly with water.

  • Are these bags resealable?

    • Yes

    • No, 10 pounds is one day's intake.

      Of course they reseal.

      • They could have been refills for the tubs. Was a legit question.

        • +2

          Was a legit stir ;)

        • -2

@Putnum: no actually you just sounded like a nob.

        • @denlife: I'm not the one calling people names

        • @denlife:

Australian humour is largely sarcasm. Get use to it

        • -1

          @tendollar:

Sarcasm is rarely humour. Someone asked a simple and genuine question, and then Putnum, in the safety of his/her home/office, decided to be a smartar$e. Pretty un-Australian if you ask me. You standing up for a mate on the other hand, is quite Aussie.

        • -1

@Putnum: No, you were the one being a smartar$e from the safety of the internet. Congratulations mate. As Cyb3rGlitch said, they could have been refills for the tubs. Although you may think it was a 'legit stir', I think that it was unnecessary. And I also thought that, from my outside view into the conversation, you sounded like a nob. Cheers

        • @denlife: You don't do well socially, do you?

        • -1

@Putnum: I do fine, Mr. Sarcasm.

        • -1

@tendollar: For the record, the sarcasm wasn't the problem, it was the "of course" as if it were a stupid question to ask.

        • -1

          @Cyb3rGlitch: Semantics

This is the protein I consistantly used before I switched to BulkNutriants Whey Isolate.
The ON brand has a great taste and as mentioned, mixes well. But note, it is actually only a blend (that is, a blend of Isolate & concentrate).
Just an FYI, the BulkNutriants Isolate is purely an isolate.

IMHO the BulkNutriants chocolate flavour is 99% as good, mixes just as easily, and is cheaper.

  • LORD ZYZZ has blessed us with some cheap gains. RIP vvv

    • Gotta make them gains bro 💪🏻

  • Damn i just bought this protein a couple of days ago. I could have saved a few bucks if i knew this deal was coming around.

  • For some reason the code doesnt work… ?!!?!?!

    • Should work now mate, started at 10am (57 mins ago)

  • +1

thanks OP. got me this plus pre workout plus casein saved $56.77 all up.

Have always been a massive fan of ON Gold Standard. Over time I have tried all major brands but the quality kept me coming back.

Bulk Nutrients are incredible for the price. Once the routine of a shake becomes more mundane I gave into the cheaper option which satisfied the needs of your standard gym bro.

Then came this, Terahammer, you are better than Yesus. He could give the boys wine from water but with this deal you have given them gold.

Just bought two bags of nostalgia with bonus serving of gains.

I dedicate my next leg day (which will be my onlyleg day) to you and your legacy.

  • what a disappointment ordered through this deal
requested a specific flavour and was sent wrong flavor
plus i ordered 20 lbs ,2 of this deals both wrong flavor
    and 00000000000000
freebie not even a single shaker or a sample servings and when called them they said we are out of everything just have 10% for your next purchase and we will send the freebie then
what **ShT support they have i guess wont be ordering with them next time

People, what is this nonsense. Eat real food, it takes 10 min to make a delicious home made burger that actually fills you up and gives you more gains while doing so. You know that protein is better absorbed with carbs right? You know that a good burger has a nearly 50/50 ratio of carbs to protein right? Protein shakes, pfft please. Meat + bread or rice or potato etc is where it's at for the gains. Just think of all the meat you could buy with $130, but if you want to spend it on processed powdery crap, then more meat for me.

    • Who says this replaces a burger? You can drink this AND eat a burger. Shocking, I know.

    • I'd prefer a burger to protein shakes any day, but am still on the shakes.
