  • are these better than the fitbits?

    • its better then the fitbit flex in terms of having a display and battery life.
compared to the fitbit charge. it cant be any worse then the luck ive had with fitbit charge i just took mine back again. im on my 7th fitbit charge (on the plus side each time i take it back i get a new 12month warrenty)

      • What issues have you had?, I know 3 people who recently got them (a couple months apart), no issues as yet thou.

        • +1
          1. Fitbit flex (dec 2014 - febuary 2015) battery died
          2. Fitbit charge (Feb-march) button fell out
          3. charge (march - april) battery issues
          4. charge (april) stopped turning on
          5. charge (april - may) wristband broke
          6. charge (may - august) wristband broke
          7. charge (received yesterday 23/08/15) will not connect to my phone or pc

aside from the endless faults i've been having its still a good wearable tracker. however i wish they would sort out their quality control as there are quite a number of people who have been having faults with fitbits

        • @adventbargain:

Thanks for info, I will tell them to keep their receipts handy.
I wonder if other Fitbit models have been having same issues.

I'm keen on a Vivosmart myself.

          Cheers

        • @OrbDaggerZ:

The battery problem with the flex is fairly common from what i have read

the problems with the charge aren't particularly common but the unable to sync to phone has been fairly common since the latest update

i think i've just had an extremely bad run when it comes to them which is getting beyond annoying

    1 year of battery life
    wow, stunning.
    learn this apple. ;)

    • Lol, I own one of these bands. It has a perminant battery to tell the time and count steps. Do want an Apple Watch to do just that? :)

    • wait how the heck does this last a year, and the fitbit last a week (talking about flex - without display)

  • It's not bad, I got it entirely because of the battery life.

You can wear it in the shower too but it is a bit too easy to get free steps.. patting the dog, etc… lol.

I too like to pat my dog in the shower…

  • Looks like it's black, blue and slate? Other colours show as $107 for me.
