  • What's the normal price?

    • $39.95

      • For a 1xAA torch!!!! Wow.

        • With a five year warranty.. They are a step above the rest.

    LED: high end power LED

    Wow!

This one has a gazillion Chinese lumen -
      Mini CREE LED Flashlight US $2.68 (~AU $3.65) Free Shipping @DD4.com https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/207691

    • Agreed… sounds pretty average…. i think I will stick with the many $3 chinese knock off torches that OB has made me buy :P

    • Lol my pokey little nitecore tube chucks out 45 lumens

    • Yeah, is it really 25 lumens?

  • $20 for a torch with no spec's given, except low brightness? Must be a joke. Or just trying to make their more expensive torches look less overpriced.

lightline - please confirm that the LED Lensers are authentic?

    • +1

Yep authentic and AU stock. Comes with a 5 year warranty from the Australian supplier.

      • Zen Imports ?

  • I got an LED Lenser recently after seeing other SES members' torches. I've had a few mega-lumen Chinese torches which have been pretty good, but died after a few months. The LED Lenser is far brighter than any of the Chinese knock offs and the quality is far better.

Agreed - authentic LED Lensers are awesome torches. I've had one 3 yrs that just went faulty and it'll be covered by warranty replacement ;)
      Highly recommend them!

  • Are you guys going to stock the P7s at all?

    • Not at this stage sorry Mate. Maybe closer to Christmas though.

  • It is the e or eco range specifically made to have a greater endurance, not brightness -it's also their "promotional gift" range.

Great as a backup torch in the cubby, especially for that price.

    Just for comparison, the P5.2 lasts 5h @ 140lm and the P5R.2 lasts 12h @270lm but with a 3.6v Li-Ion battery.

  • Ok, just purchased a L5 for 1/2 price @Masters.
See how it compares to the following…
    Ultrafire 502b… made by Convoy
    Convoy C8
    Convoy S3
    Convoy M1
    Fenix LD20 Premium
    Fenix L0D
    Olight A3T
    4Sevens Preon P3 nichia 219b special edition
    Eveready Dolphin Micro
    Zerbralight H600w Mk II

    • What did you pay for the L5?

Is that the list of torches you have at your place?

      • About the same as your P5e special :)
Yuppers, that's what I could quickly locate and discounts duplicates.
For example, I've x2 LD20, L0D and A3T, another Nichia 219b torch somewhere I'm unable to remember brand name, 3x other Fenix which names escape me, 3/4x 502B, 3/4x C8 hosts and another C8!

I might have a torch problem, yet a humans gotta use those Eneloops and Sanyo chipped Panasonic 18650's somehow ;)

Thus far, the inability to tailstand is annoying, particularly due to the L5 being a bottom twisty to turn on/off (top twisty is to focus) and no switch behind the rubber cap, which protrudes beyond the torches body/chassis, and why it's unable to stand.
Either make a solid base or shove a clicky on/off switch there!

    • I would also like to know how you got the L5 for 1/2 price.

      • Bumping into the State manager helped, as did it being damaged stock.
A fluke, that I was glad to take advantage of and why I didn't list it.
Was a time/place once off offer.

  • Hey rep, any chance you could do the i7 again for $35? Im buying a torch today/tomorrow. thanks.

    • They are $49.95 now mate, that's the best we can do. Only got 6 left in stock.

      • Bummer. Oh well, thanks anyway.
