Vita Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess (English Sub) ~ $50.10 AUD Delivered PlayAsia

30

Play asia's dropped the price of the Asian version with English subtitles from $40 USD to $30 USD for this week's sale. If you want a physical English version (Sony Asia is the only place that printed a physical English vita edition) of this game on the vita this is a decent price for it at the moment and possibly best as it's unlikely to show up second hand on ebay or get lower over time as it gets more rare. Shipping is a large 9.37c AUD and thats the slow option with no tracking.

Please note Audio is in japanese as is standard for these games but menu and anywhere text is is in English.

  • Otherwise if you want the digital version, the Playstation Store sells it for $49.95.

  • sorry, but is this a good price? isn't it better to wait for a local release?

    • Price is on par with the digital version at least on Aussie PSN.
It's not an excellent price but it is the cheapest so far for a physical english version of this game.
It used to be $10 USD more expensive last week.

The catch is no where in the world is the PS vita version on shelves in an english version. Not USA, EU, or Australia. Only an English PS4 version exists on shelves. If you refuse to buy digital at full RRP or like me don't like the whole buying a digital game is buying a temporary license to play thing and you'd rather own a physical item you can trade/sell/collect this is the only way to purchase it.

      • true, but any further DLC releases will be a headache to get to work on this version.

Eb nor jbhifi would accept this asia version for trade.

Sony usually have a big in japan sale, it might bring the cost down a bit.

ss it this game an add-on or sequel to the earlier release?

        • Dlc could be of concern for some if they make any other than the pre-order dlc.

Jb probably not EB has from experience accepted Asian English copies of Dance on broadway for ps3 as well as I've seen Asian english Xbox360 some gears of war game so I think it's up to whether the staff know whats region free and allowed.

Yeah it'll most certainly be cheaper down the line digitally but for physical collectors I don't know if it'll go much lower due to the low amount I'm guessing they printed.

So this game is weird it's like Toukiden: Kiwami, Ragnarok Oddessy Ace, God Eater Rage Burst, in that it includes the base game as well as additional content. So it includes Deception IV Blood ties as well as the additional mission mode which is the Nightmare princess story (100 quests). I think theres also some new traps, new levels, and cameos of previous characters as well as being able to play as different characters. Also includes a level designer called deception studio so you can make levels, victims and share via the internet.

        • @Scaregdearimasu:

thanks. was going to pick up blood ties for about 40$ from some online stores. But I might consider getting this instead.

        • @godofpizza:
No worries glad I could help.
If you don't mind playing the older version for far less and on the ps3 instead you can get a European version for $27 AUD delivered here http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Deception-IV-Blood-Ties-PS3-Game-…

Not sure how it is on ps3 though and the newer version has some nicer features like being able to save/swap traps in/out in between missions which the older one doesn't have but they're both fun.
