    OK, great for you.

    Am having bacon for dinner.

    • Nice, I am having pizzas from Domino's for dinner. I am slightly sad that my domino's store didn't accept the coupon on Ozbargain.

  • Let me guess…you have an iPhone.

    Where's Rocky?

      Nah, he's a luddite.

Reminds me of an old codger who barks at kids playing in the street.

I don't know why he looks these things up. I've heard about this early today from a tech related forum that I just visit. I have to say, this guy is fairly up-to-date with the tech related news (about the products that he doesn't use, why?)

Anyways, I think arstechnica does say that ASLR, one of the security measures, can be bypassed (without giving any information on how or sources on whether it is bypassable). That said, Google has claimed that 90% of the Android devices are equiped with ASLR and because of that, attacks that exploit Stagefright are more than likely to crash the system instead being successful (from a BBC article that I've read on this issue).

@nocure: Great, now I gotta watch the whole movie.

        • @airzone:

          Yep it's a classic.

I'd get off the internet if i was you, there's lots of exploits for Windows and Linux, you can't be too careful.

Although the topic itself is absolutely legitimate (Android has security problems due to the way how security updates are distributed), the title killed it right at the beginning.

    Gosh someone ban this guy.

Clearly he's trolling or some crap, or honestly some Luddite.

Heh, here's one where he's complaining how kids nowadays don't learn "useful" stuff like maintaining a rifle and stuff.

      • Maybe someone could get him one these for Christmas

        http://www.cnet.com/news/who-wouldnt-want-an-iphone-case-tha…

Might ease him into technology, if it has a familiar 'grip'.

        • Heh, though seriously, I don't think you'd be able to get AR-15 in Australia (I have no clue on this, but I thought Australia has a strong ban against anything automatic since late 1990s?) If I haven't seen an wiki article on M16, I wouldn't have recognised the name. AR-15 is the name of the model for the civilian market, I've never heard it being called that during my two years of conscription at least. So yeah, I think he's a troll.

      • Sounds like a very biased, uninformed, technology fearing, zombie doomsday prepping, selfie hating, map loving, friendless and violent person…

        Something about these two comments…

Learn all sorts of useless rubbish you will never use again in the first place, now with overpriced tech.

Break down an SKS or Glock or AR?

Considering we're in country where firearms are banned…of course learning those would be very useful in my daily routine.

  • …ok, have fun with your ZTE lol

  • i got sucked in defending android against apple re stagefright then read some of his/her posts. he or she is a total luddite. good on him/her.

87% of Android phones are insecure

if people didn't keep putting them down then they'd probably have higher self esteem.

You really don't like android do you ?

You and your Blackberry must be fun at dinner parties.

    • I thought the Android Mobiles were unsecure and the owners were insecure.

    • So what?
