Just called Harvey Norman. They're doing it for $88.

    • Have you got a link by any chance? Or the model you found for 88? Thanks!

Was keen to get then searched seen powerbeats2 and now think it beats the beats1. wireless sounds good, damn. cheapest on powerbeats2 seems to be david jones has $180 for black ones. Is harvey norman a price beat on the beats plus 10%? cause there not on website. Do you think HN will price beat DJ then Jbhifi can price beat the beats at HN. Or am I beating a dead horse

As someone who owns the powerbeats 2, just for your information, I do recommend them. Obviously it's funny how many people wear the overpriced over ear headphones even though there are better alternatives at cheaper prices, but I actually found the powerbeats 2 to be one of the best bluetooth in ears on the market. They have a lot more charge then competing models, the only downside is they don't have the functionality to power off over bluetooth.

I price matched in JBHIFI against a Harvey Norman price of $199 a little while back but I'm not sure all JBHIFI employees have that power to price match. They wouldn't price match David Jones though because they didn't consider them as direct competitors (probably too cheap for them to match). So I would think Harvey Norman might refuse that price match. Give it a try by all means, it will depend on what employee you speak with, a college/school kid isn't going to have the power to be able to make that match. They sometimes instead of calling the floor manager will just tell you they can't match that price. Try to talk to an experienced looking employee (ageist I know) because they might have the power to make a sale like that.

Same case with office-works, they pretty much always have the option to refuse a price match, usually it's just a floor manager that makes the decision.
