Hi guys, I have just upgraded my main desktop to Windows 10 and would like to try out Cortana. Yes I know I have to set the region to USA as Cortana for Australia is not yet ready. I don't have a microphone however…just wondering what you guys used and what you would recommend?
Obviously there are some cheap ones to be found on eBay but I don't know their quality and performance with Cortana.
Would like a version that can sit on the desk or perhaps mount to the monitor or something?

I just use one of these tiny USB dongles that look like the tiny bluetooth semi-circular $2 ones. Especially handy if you have a USB port in your monitor. I used the microphones attached with my headphone. It worked just fine.
The Zalman microphone is cheap and attaches to any headphones you are using.
