    just a note:

i believe the Ultra II is the top of the line consumer grade ssd

it benches better than the plain SDSSDP from last week but i doubt you would see a real world difference, i dont on mine

    • i believe the Ultra II is the top of the line consumer grade ssd

That's an oxymoron. I think the Extreme Pro is the top of the line for SanDisk. All "consumer grade" stuff is SATA - if you're looking for enterprise grade, then it would be defined by faster interfaces like SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) or PCIe (which is much faster) - or it would have super high endurance.

Ultra II = 3 year warranty
Extreme Pro = 10 year warranty

      • Fact. But just because a warranty is longer doesn't imply that it's not a consumer product, just that they warrant it for longer (doesn't necessarily mean it'll last less if the warranty is less, but that they don't give you as much support).

        • +2

He never said it's not a consumer product…

If it has a longer warranty, the manufacturer obviously has more faith in the longevity of the product.

      For the geeks-
Ultra II : Marvell controller, TLC memory
SSD Plus: dramless Silicon Motion controller, MLC memory.

How does this rapoo power bank compare to xiaomi?

    • +1

Probably all made by LG or Samsung cells.
My guess is it's made by LG.

      • It does says LG battery for the top model, can probably assume likewise for the other two.

        • +2

If they say it on one, but not on the others, youd be better off assuming they dont have LG inside.

Um….it has poo in the name?

  • Please read the reviews for the zyxel before purchase, unless you are after an awesome switch with a limited lifespan

Is there a typo in the ad? or am I in a different timeline?

"Available Instore and Online Mon 11/08 to Tue 12/08"

When does the deal start? Mon and Tue(10th and 11th), or Tue and Wed(11th and 12th)?

    • "Available … Mon 11/08 to Tue 12/08"…so Monday to/and Tuesday…two days…or am I missing something?

      • +1

@Seisei derrick is trying to make a point that the dates dont match the days mentioned.. Monday is 10th and not 11th

        • +1

Ah oops, there it is, I did miss something. Apologies.

    Finally… MSY is in tassie.

    • Where about in Tassie?

      • 43 Pitcairn Street, Glenorchy. You'd probably get stabbed going into that suburb.

        • Can you collect at that store as I could not select it on their website.

        • @stemcell: It opened today, so they'll probably add it in the future.

  • What's the better choice powerbank, aluminium or 'lg battery'?

    http://www.msy.com.au/nswonline/pc-components/14415-sandisk-…

    • Says it Starts 11/08…

      • Starts today, just bought ssd + sdcard.

      Thank you

    • just add it to your cart and refresh/goto cart and it will have added the MSD Card for free.

  • Yeah confusing it says Mon 11/08.
