I am still trying to decide which material to buy PU Leather or Fabric but thought to share the bargain value beds some of which have free shipping too. The Fabric ones looks really nice (tempted!).

Anybody bought mattresses from these guys and can give feedback?
I've looked around for reviews and it seems they are good in short term but show wear in the long term (indentations etc). There are a lot of reviews but a lot of them seem to be a bit suss eg they signed up just to write how good it is
A friend of mine had paid big $$ for a mattress as he had a bad back, but found it to be uncomfortable (from elsewhere). He then bought a cheapy off these guys and said it was probably better.
I ended up buying a mattress for the spare room - seems decent, and guests we've had staying over have said it was comfortable.
Ordering and delivery process was all good.
Thanks takezo, how long have you owned that mattress? Keen to know cause Hipmumma said they don't last.
Also, these guys apparently make up the cheap price with shipping, I add more items but the shipping fees do not combine.
I've had my mattress about 6 months, but as I said it's in the spare room so can't really comment on durability. I'm guessing my mate has had his for about a couple of years now, and he hasn't mentioned anything about having problems with it.
@wildstone: This is the description on the invoice:
Queen Mattress Pocket Spring Latex Euro Top (207Q) (Tommy Swiss)
I bought this one http://www.tommyswiss.com.au/mattresses/tommy-swiss-range/qu… off them about 3 years ago and it's still going strong.
It does have slight indentations in the pillow top but it's a latex pillow top so I would've thought you have to expect that after 3 years.
For the price, i think it was a sensational buy.
The only issue is the mattress height. With the pillow top it makes it quite high and means you may have to buy new sheets. My fitted queen size sheets just stretch over but the flat sheets can only be tucked in about 2cm on either side so don't stay tucked in.I have a double that I have been sleeping on for around 2 years now.
Was intended as an temporary mattress, but it suits my level of comfort so well that I kept it and saved the hundreds of dollars I would have otherwise spent on a brand name mattress.
The very edges of the bed stoop downwards though, as if not holding it's shape, although it's never affected me and doesn't appear anywhere else.
Good value for around ~200 back then.
Thanks guys for all the feedbacks!
Yes, I own a king size mattress from the 'Midnight Polo' series (honestly, I don't think theres any difference between the different series). Very happy for the price; can't compare it to a mattress 4 or 5 times the price, but definitely comparable with a mattress 2 or 3 times the price. If it only lasts for a year then it's still good value. No problems with delivery, although the delivery driver didn't bring it all the way inside but that's forgivable given health and safety regulations and whatnot.
I've had mine for 4 months now.
but thought to share the bargain
You didn't post any bargains, just a link to a website…
You didn't either…
It's not my deal…
Excuses excuses Mr vj
site reminds me of one of kogan's sites…
Bought from these guys about a year and a half ago, queen size mattress and PU leather bed as my main bed. As per other reviews the sides of the bed are quite soft, although I think it is because of the pocket spring design (I think some other mattress makers add something to the side walls to make it stiffer iirc). Pillow top is soft and comfortable, but the springs have sagged a little more than I expected (especially considering I am pretty lightweight), but I don't mind because I not a fan of super hard beds. The actual bed frame is pretty solid and good quality, although the bed head is a little shorter than what is shown in the pictures because the mattress is probably a bit thicker than the one shown in the pictures. Overall pretty good value considering the price point. Additional note: The delivery company they used was really crap, they delivered my mattress and bed separately for some reason (luckily I was able to be home to accept both deliveries) and the drivers just expected me to pull it off the truck by myself…
any bargains?
