No chance in hell. See this post.

    • You could probably find codes that would enable you to play region free DVDs. But these codes would not enable you to play region free blu-rays.

There are region free blu-ray players but we're talking big bucks.

      Hope this helps.

      • There are region free blu-ray players but we're talking big bucks.

We're also talking no longer in production for the handful of multi-region BDPs that existed. So again, no chance in hell of most people getting their hands on one.

        • True, I know of only one store that still sells them.

So yes, most people's options are limited.

  • Does anyone know the model number?

So let me get this straight, if I buy this I then have to pay $20-440 to buy each movie to watch?

    Yeah right.

Specs are very average (no USB/no 3D). Not really sure if this is a bargain…..$20-$30 is more of a bargain!

They've been around the $60 mark for a long while, at stores like DSE, most outlets have been out of stock for some time too. Very basic unit, no frills at all, but then they're a very old model. Also the remote codes interfere with a number of popular brand amps, TVs and PVRs.
