Tis a tough crowd
That joke went straight through me
Looks like a national sale, found it here:
http://salefinder.com.au/coles-catalogue/coles-catalogue-nsw…is this region freE?
You could probably find codes that would enable you to play region free DVDs. But these codes would not enable you to play region free blu-rays.
There are region free blu-ray players but we're talking big bucks.
Hope this helps.

We're also talking no longer in production for the handful of multi-region BDPs that existed. So again, no chance in hell of most people getting their hands on one.
True, I know of only one store that still sells them.
So yes, most people's options are limited.
Does anyone know the model number?
China-101 (Special Edition)
BDP1300 allegedly
So let me get this straight, if I buy this I then have to pay $20-440 to buy each movie to watch?
Yeah right.
Specs are very average (no USB/no 3D). Not really sure if this is a bargain…..$20-$30 is more of a bargain!
They've been around the $60 mark for a long while, at stores like DSE, most outlets have been out of stock for some time too. Very basic unit, no frills at all, but then they're a very old model. Also the remote codes interfere with a number of popular brand amps, TVs and PVRs.
I prefer Void Ray. Its Prismatic Alignment is so powerful!
Went and had a quick glance instore: sound is 2.0
O.OAny good ??
HD DVD is better
