Hey magnafunk, how did you get $250, I have tried, Braybrook, Hawthorn East and Roxburgh Park and I get $341.00 less 10%, no $250.00 for me unfortunately.

Does anyone know here you can get a ceramic BBQ or lava rock? I can't believe they are so hard to find in Australia the land of the BBQ.

if it's a Q2000, I'd definitely recommend it. Q200 though is the older model. Q2000 has shiny grill that is easier to clean, no matter how tough the marinade sticks to the grill. Also, with the Q2000, they have this new design portable trolley-stand that collapses so you can roll it everywhere with the BBQ on it. The Q200 isn't compatible with this stand. Both pretty good BBQ otherwise.
Clean? One does not clean a webber.

Very tempting… although I am quite happy with my babyQ. Fortunately, it's out of stock at Masters nearby my place.
Bought this just a few weeks ago from masters clearance, but I paid $306. Thought it was a decent price. Couldn't have waited anyway as it was a birthday present.
ANYWAY, just wanted to point out that when we picked it up (click and collect) they actually gave us a Q2000. I suppose it's an easy mistake since name and appearance is so similar. Although I don't know for sure if it was a mistake or if they oversold the product and were being nice by substituting. Either way, we didn't notice it until we were home.
So yeah, you might get a double deal if you are lucky :)

In the past you used to be able to buy a Weber Smokey Mountain from Amazon for $300-400 shipped to Australia. The local dealers had a whinge and now we've got to pay $699 RRP, just sayin. =(
