  I know corked sparkling wine can go flat and off tasting about a year or 2 after manufacture. Not sure about cider, and might make a difference that it's capped.

  Tried to do a search but instead got the idea of trying to make a batch of hard cider myself this summer. Hmm! Just need good quality apple juice and yeast. And maybe some equipment

    If they have a "use by" date, no, but if it's "best before" then it's still ok.
