    Hello TravelSIMSDirect,

    I'll be arriving in Japan on the 10th of October for 2 weeks. Just wanted to check if I activated a 14 day sim on the 10th, it'll still be valid for the entire trip i.e. it'll still work after the 15th as long as I activate before then?

    Otherwise, if you're not sure and think you'll have another sale later on with a later expiry I can wait :)

      Hi mate!
      As long as first use is before the 15th you're all good i.e. if you did activate on the 14th of October your 14 days would start from then!

      You will be right but the card will expire on the 30th of October (on the 16th it will start the 14 days). Hope that makes sense.

        I can't find any details on the website that it must activate by 15th October? The description says "Upon arrival into Japan and first use, the 7 or 14 days of unlimited data allowance will begin". Since I won't arrive till the 18th, will the sim automatically activate on the 16th?

        Sorry about the delay in getting back to you guys. The speed cap on the 3G speed is capped at approx. 240kbs, so marginally faster than the usual 200kbs with Japan SIM Cards. Hope that helps.

    I bought one of these and now i am in Japan. The link to install APN does not exist!
