I just got the x2 and also have the x3. I can say the bass of the x3 is much better and deeper than the x2. The x3 has 2 passive speakers and it really makes a difference. If a good deal comes up on the x3 it's worth the extra money. Overall a better sounding speaker.

Dropped by JBHifi Bankstown and they were all sold out of the red srs3. Lady told me that there were 10 still in stock at Jb Homebush. I cbf going all the way to buy one.

Managed to get my hands on one after calling around stores in Perth.. They told me Picadilly store had 4 left but by the time I got there they had all sold out. The guy there was very helpful and called up the other Perth city stores but they had sold out too and the only store that had some left in WA were at Ocean Keys… they offered to get one sent to the Picadilly store for me which was great! Apparently most stores were holding them for customers and it seems like they have all sold out in Perth within 24 hours!

Thanks OP!I don't want to wait for 1-2 weeks for the stock to come. Took the black one to the counter with the discount barcode printed (barcode only). Scanned the barcode and the price dropped from $149 to $49. I preferred black than red colour anyway. I believe the white ones will also work.
