80 Fujitsu AA Batteries: $16.59 Delivered @ Dick Smith

70

Dick's 'one day' sales….

Cost of 40 batteries is $4.32, and then add the delivery free of $7.95, and you'll get 40 for $12.27, which isn't really a great deal.

The max order quantity is 2, so if you order 8 packs, you'll get 80 batteries for $4.32*2=$8.64, then add the $7.95 delivery, and youll get 80 for $16.59.

Works out to be decent, around 20 cents a a battery delived.

And yes, if you're wondering, I'm not an eneloop fan.

  • This is a better deal if people can find stock:

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/201617

works out to be $6 for 80 AA batteries

  • Seeing as this is ozbargains, are we supposed to hiss audibly at anything that isnt eneloop?

    • If you are buying that many batteries at once, then yes, rechargeables might be a good idea.

      • Unless rechargables don't give the grunt needed, in which case they're a terrible choice.

        • NiMH have more energy and more power on one charge. Not sure how many milligrunts though.

        • @manic: It's pretty simple - if the rechargables won't run the device that alkalines will, then the rechargables (yes, even Eneloops) don't have enough grunt. HTH.
