  • I think $30.95 was Dicky's lowest price. Though this is still a great price!

Better than the $75 I was expecting to shell out!

      • I wouldn't spend $75 for these ones even though they are quite good. For $75 I would be looking at S4i's or something like that :)

Hm, I actually use the Bose IE2 for myself at the moment (love them despite my apprehensions about Bose as a brand), any idea how these would compare?

        • I have Klipsch S4's and feel these offer better value… Certainly so at under $40!

@Bromantis: The S4i's are quite amazing, I've owned them for years and even though it recently died (then it started working again lol) I would buy another one if the our dollar wasn't so low. Bass is good and noise cancellation is excellent. I can't compare them to your Bose since I haven't used them yet but comparing the price range I'll assume the Bose would be better in terms of audio quality.

  • good deal

  • Any wireless headphone deals ??

  • WHAT THE HELL, these are 50% off

I have 2 pairs of these because I thought I lost them one time

They have lasted me 3years each and my partner has bloody accidentally put them in the washing machine THREE TIMES already but they still work (wow)
(I leave headphones in my jacket alot and she doesnt check my pockets)

    definitely recommend

    • Yep, put my old pair through the wash many times… Great product but eventually died. Get the CX3's for $47 from DSE, selling JBHIFI for $89

Just picked up a pair from the Dandenong store, will compare to my Logitech UE 400 which I had to buy twice after leaving a pair at the Dandenong Hospital.

  • Bought a pair of these a while back and returned them the next day 'cause they weren't great. Could have been a bad pair. Picked up a different pair of Sennheisers for around the same price which sounded much better.

Again, could have been a bad pair 'cause they sounded well below average.

  • i got these instead ~$10 cheaper same model

Not saying yours is fake, but be careful as there are a lot of fakes out there. Although the regular price for these black and white earphone were around $30-$35 a couple of years ago.

      • I almost bought one the other day at $25. The problem is even sellers that seem trustworthy (high feedback for example) could carry fake ones and we would have no idea how to tell before receiving the product.

        • I bought this model from a china website for $14, which had full retail packaging. Has lasted me about 3 years so far, and was comparable sound quality (I had the original CX300 beforehand which lasted me 5 years before one earphone stopped working).

  • I got the CX3's from DSE couple weeks back for $47 as a replacement for my lost pair of CX300ii; on sale again today! The CX3's are the replacement model for CX300ii.

Shell out the extra cash for these instead.

Oh… and don't use DSE delivery as they use Toll Priority and are a joke at best!

  • How do you click and collect?

I bought these in JB around 4 years ago for about $80 after reading some great reviews. I didn't like them right from the start but stuck with them for a few months to give them a chance to break in. But they never got any better and to me sounded no better than the cheap earphones you get free with phones - like those found with Apple products. I ended up getting a pair of Sony MDR-EX300 earphones which didn't cost all that much more but the difference in sound quality for me was like night and day. With the Sony earphones I could suddenly hear things in music that I never heard before. The Sennheiser CX300II were a muffled mess in comparison.

Of course, I may have got a bad pair. But, just be careful, if you are used to more expensive earphones then these might not be for you (based on my experience).

F***ING DICK SMITH. The manager of Moonee Ponds just emailed me to say they have no stock. On Thursday. After ordering 2 pairs on Monday. Obviously sold off my stock instead of waiting for me to pick up. I bought these for my friend's going away on Saturday… royally screwed me here.
