Hi, I am looking for a USB 3.0 card readers that can take in SDHC card. There are obviously many on the market but I read that not all transfer at USB 3.0 speed and some are a lot slower than others. There are reputable ones like sandisk and lexar but these also cost much more. Just wondering what would you guys suggest? Thanks.

But there is also this one too. A multi-card reader version for $18.

Is the RDF8K better than the RDF5 u reckon?
I don't have the RDF8K, so I can't say except it's your call. The RDF5 has a MicroSD reader BTW.

Might be a slightly different model to the one mentioned above.
If your not going past a MSY you could get one of these shipped to your letterbox for $0.89 more than $10.good find. Cheers mate.
dmc900 - it's the same as the RDF5 posted above.
I don't know about quality but this is cheap at jbhifi $5 + $5 delivery. Kaiser Baas USB multicard reader

I am using Kingston Digital MobileLite G4 USB 3.0 Card Reader. I don't have a SD card so I cannot say anything about SD card, but it's getting the full speed for my microSD cards I think.
Here is a review that I found about them.

cheers for that. eBay says this is about $15. now I have the transcend and the kingston to decide. good stuff.
The Transcend RDF5 does SD and microSD as per above. It's cheap and compatible. I've seen issues with some cheap readers not being recognised on Win7/8 or not allowing to be used as a bootable drive.
Go the RDF5 as posted above, unless you need compactflash as well. But the RDF5 is smaller.
cheers for that.
I use the Transcend RDF5, can get the full ~90MB/s read on my Lexar 128gb 633X card.
