I wouldn't rely on Target to do that. It can take ages before you can speak to someone that can make decision. Then those 'let me check', 'we can only match',etc. They are betting you won't sue/report them for $10.
Target do not match percentage off i don't think. You also need proof of the item advertised with it's price. It also usually needs to be in stock. As far as i have experienced this is the usual and one person will say something different to another, who will then ask another or say i need to call the manager etc.
Exactly. Very hard to get anything from Target. I even show them the catalogue from bigW in the same shopping centre, after so much time wasted, they can only match the price. No $10 voucher.
Report Target to the ACCC. If several people complain then the ACCC will take action.
If you found a product being advertised for less during the same promotion period such as targets toy sale they should honour their policy. It is typical to know more about these practices of price matching then the employees. Which says a lot. You either stand your ground or give up. I have done both but not recently.
I avoid these toy sales, buy online or wait till it quitens down. I like a bargain but not keen on dealing with the people part lol. Saving or not! You may find they will argue online prices are different to in store too. A bit like Dick Smiths exclusions.
