I love my Bobble filtered water bottle and usually the filters are almost as expensive as the bottles. Have a look round as I've seen them in different stores and different colours may come in at full price.

QLD- I've seen them at Vincent and Aitkenvale (Townsville region).
also seen same prices and colours at Subiaco, WA two weeks ago.
you do realise those filters are pretty basic, and only are required to remove "solids" from the water?
I went and looked up the standard a while back when they first came out. Might as well just filter water through your business sock.
Tap water here is healthy but tastes pretty chlorinated. These and Britta Maxtra cartridges I use definitely gets rid of that taste. Will business socks with those same properties be cheaper than $1.98?
I'm sure a used business sock will remove the chlorinated taste.
Can you recommend any other cheaper alternatives? The Brita ones are more expensive and require you to change the filter every week.
I use a waterpik water filter. It screws on the tap. It costs $25 or so from Amazon, the filter lasts a month or more, and replacement filters are about $30 for a 4pack
