      and only $US126 :p

Good value at this price point for a phone with good reviews.

      1GB RAM

Unusable. The lag will be unbearable.

Any real life experience with the phone or you guessing ?

        • I think ash2000 was guessing :)

        • I've had a lot of experience with 1GB android devices……and I know 1GB ram ensures a frustratingly sluggish experience.

  • Massive $2 saving! Wow!
What are the cameras like on these?

      Massive $2 saving! Wow!

That is more of a saving than all the deals you have submitted put together.

Better off paying the extra for the 2GB RAM/16GB Pro version. Only $14US more - http://www.minideal.net/xiaomi-redmi-2-red-rice-2-4g-fdd-lteā€¦ - I've no idea on that site but it's under $160US everywhere.

    • The note is a fair bit larger though

They are referring to the 2gb/16gb version of this phone. Same size 4.7".better value. Not sure on the 2200mah battery however.

        • +1

Yup, exactly the same phone with 2GB RAM/16GB storage. 2200mah battery is the same on all Redmi 2 devices, should be ok on the smaller screen but as always it comes down to how accurate that 2200 is and whether the software is any good at conserving power (worth remembering that the iPhone 6 is only 1810mah).
