      I think you meant awful.

      Amazing that changing one letter in the middle of a word changes the entire meaning of the sentence. Spelling it with the e in the middle sounds like you are in awe of the way the post is written which I'm guessing wasn't your intention.

      I'll reserve my judgement at the moment regarding whether posting the specials this way is useful or not.

        Strangely enough, it was commonly spelled as 'aweful' until the Second World War when people began dropping the 'e'.

        And, it used to always mean 'in awe of' of 'full of awe'. Churchgoers used to be in awe of god. They were aweful worshippers.

        It's only in the last half century or so that it's been used to describe bad taste, bad fashion, etc.

      I assume OP is using some regex to fetch these from the online sites. For IGA he'd have to manually tip them in from the catalogue, plus they easily vary for region for IGA :/

      IGA are shaping up well.
      I pass three on my commute to work and I cross-checked a number of non-Aldi items that I occasionally source at the duopoly. IGA have closed the price-gap to a whisker at all three venues.
      Even better, a handful of their feature specials are very well-priced.

        Here I was reading the other day about how Coles and Woolworths customers are, on average, paying 70% more than they would for a similar items shop at Aldi.

        Competition failing to deliver lower prices yet again in Australia. While the two dominant players spend some of the money they're making on bombarding consumers with messages ramming home the point they they're cheaper and that competition is so fierce that they're "struggling" to valiantly deliver these bargains.

        The consumers that are hit hardest by this are the ones that don't have an aldi store near them.
