  • I should have combined them to start with. My apologies.

  • This isnt a bad price either I think
    Kingston 64GB microSDXC Card+Adapter $25

whats the diff between microSDXC and microSDHC?

    • +7

HC and XC are merely abbreviations for High Capacity and eXtended Capacity and give information about how much memory is available on the microSD.
Micro SD - A classic Micro SD has a maximum of 2 GB of storage
Micro SD HC - The memory of a mircoSDHC is between 4 and 32 GB
Micro SD XC - The memory of a mircoSDXC is between 32 GB and 3 TB

      • Thanks Marco.

I am assuming not all phones can handle XC (mines a few years old now Xperia Z)

        • +1

most of the SDXC cards come pre-formatted to exFAT this causes Xperia Z to not play nice with the SD card (i.e. not detect it, not being able to write to it)
once you format the SD card through the phone it formats to FAT32 and works fine
mind you if you format it to FAT32 you will have a file transfer size limit of 4GB
so yeah you can have XC but u would have to format the SD card in the phone in order to work

        • @Marco1993:
thanks, I assume LG G3 would be fine though.

          @PVA:
My 64Gb Evo works fine (SDXC) in my G3

        • @menvert:
          thanks.

After Eneloops now it's time for SanDisk collection.

    • Stamp of approval indeed xD

  • PCByte recently had a sale on Extreme 32Gb for $24. Got one :)

  • Tempting but I prefer the Extreme 64GB, any deals?

    • Just get two of these 32GB cards, cheaper than one 64GB card.

  • Futu EOFY %20 off also $24

  • Will officeworks price beat this?

    • Does OW have this model in stock first?

      • OW doesn't have this exact same model. They do have a Sandisk Extreme 32GB MicroSDHC although it's the previous UHS Speed Class 1 card. This one from Shopping Express is the new UHS Speed Class 3 card. So better off getting this deal from Shopping Express.

        • Well no price match for zoomzoomzoom then.

  • Are either of these better than the other (same price, both class 10, different brands)?
