  • Can anyone else confirm they got the 7 Days Free? My account did not get an email nor is it showing in my Battlenet Account.

Also, I've already posted the Draenor discount.

Didn't get the email and just got the free 7 days on my inactive WoD account.

    Thanks OP!

    • awesome! no worries, just sharing the love

  • I uploaded a screenshot of the email I got if you were concerned about authenticity: http://imgur.com/a/pAiHH

I miss the vanilla days :( when the game was a challenge

    • Me too! :(
      Those were the best days!

  • I got 7 days free time email 2 or 3 weeks before 6.2 update

7 whole days free, their generosity knows no bounds…

    • I think normally you can just play free until level 20(?) albeit with some restrictions…but yeah. Whilst they keep making tonnes of money out of it, do not expect a change to free to play to happen any-time soon.

      • +1

Quite… However, many other reputable games at least throw in a month of play time with any expansion pack.

  • For those who haven't logged on in ages, it's worth taking up the 7 day offer just to login and preserve your characters' names. Blizz has started recycling character names as of 6.2 if they haven't logged in for ~5 years.

    • Careful WoW is like crack…

  • I started again after a couple of years away, I don't recommend it. I've bought 3 months of Sub time, which is (thankfully) almost at an end, and I've come to the conclusion that the game has gone even worse.
I realised a while back that most of the time I spent in that game was simply because I'd feared quitting would make all the previous time & money I'd spent seem worthless ……. which it was.

    Still, that's 7 free days.

  • Merged from Free 7 Days of WOW for Accounts Inactive for More than a Month

free 7 days of wow if you haven't played for 30 days at the cutoff date on june 15 2015.

they have a new patch and flying coming up soon which has livened up the dying expansion a tiny bit.

may interest some but i doubt many will return till next expansion next year.

Don't do it guys. the cost of playing wow is much more than just the subscription fee

I try it out again every year or two. I never subscribe for more than a month. The addictiveness wore off long ago for me.

        • same, can only do small dapples now

    • gee, 7 whole days….

      • +1

Beats paying for a whole month, just to realise you didn't miss the game one bit… Though you can now use gold to fund your subscription, so if you had a bit stockpiled, that would keep you going for a few months at least.

Lol. Just to get them hooked again. I seriously should open a WOW addiction clinic. Wouldn't need to be on ozbargain anymore… Probably still would though.

    • "flying coming up soon"

      Big news! Burning Crusade out?

damn I haven't played for years…. I cant go back

  • +2

I have used my 7 days already but didn't bother re-subbing, getting Batman and a PS4. On top of that every other game I am still playing or still need to finish… there just is no time for WoW anymore.
