Vintec 30 Bottle Wine Cellar for $299 Delivered after $180 Wine Spend

60

There have been better deals for Vintec Wine Cellars posted on OzB before so take this one with a pinch of salt.

This time you get to choose from more than just Penfolds, they've included Wynns Coonawarra and Wolf Blass.

You can source the wine from almost anywhere, including online, so take your time and hunt for good prices over the next couple of months and save your receipts.

/edit

Was just thinking that you could probably buy a case of expensive Penfolds (check the exclusions) and wait until you get your Vintec cellar and then refund the wine. Looking at all the big retailers, BWS has the best refund policy as it falls under Woolies policy of "we will cheerfully refund the purchase price where you have simply changed your mind and you return the product to us unopened, in its original packaging and with clear proof of purchase."

The T&Cs of the deal say they might ask for your original receipt at any point before you get the cellar. Note that a photocopy of a receipt is enough for a proof of purchase for Woolies so feel free to surrender your receipt to Vintec and keep a copy for BWS. As long as you can store the wine safely and go without the $180 for a few weeks while the cellar gets delivered, you could get it for just $299.

  • definitely not as good as last year :(

    • Yep, that's what I was referring to when I said it wasn't that good. Really only good for people who were looking to get one anyway.

  • +2

Or try your luck here :)

    • +1

Definitely. Since the winners are announced on 4/9 and the claim period ends on 15/9 you can wait to see if you won before paying for one!

      • Nice idea :)

        • "You must include a separate valid original purchase receipt for each entry. Purchase receipts must not be used for any other offer or promotional activity conducted by the Promoter."

          Terrible idea actually!

  • I got in on the $150 delivered for $120 of wine. Both my brother and I got one. They are pretty good cabinets.

    • Was that the deal from 5 years ago?

      • Yup, that would be about right. Damn fine deal and still finishing off all the Bin 28s; they are drinking pretty good at the moment.

        • haha I wish I was more on it back then!

  • So it's 180+299=479 for one and 180+299+80=559 for subsequent fridges? Blimey!

    • I think the extra $80 is if you miss the delivery of the Vintec, which would be pretty hard to do as they give you a buzz in advance.

Well that's what happened last year with mine!

  • Can be combined with the Amex deal to get $15 off
