Whilst on this topic… Any suggestions for a good price on 4gb RAM for this laptop?
I know it comes with 2Gb… is that 1 stick of 2Gb or 2 x 1Gb?
I brought this for my mum as her first laptop I doubt she is going to realise the difference between 4gb RAM and 8gb RAM

Is there an easy way to move everything from the 500gb HDD to a new SSD? Like a simple clone app? I done this a long time ago for a friend and have forgotten a little.

The SSD you linked to is pretty crappy, do not get unknown brand SSD's. Spend a bit more and get the Crucial BX100 instead. or get Sandisk Ultra SSD for $69 bux
Again try searching in the Ozbargain search box and be on the lookout for deals (I post quite a bit from MSY but also check out Shopping Express as well).

I recall someone saying it has only 1 slot for Ram. You can find out once you open up your laptop… Or you can use Speccy or CpuZ program to find out the number of SoDimm slots you have
Only one ram slot, and not very easy to open and close the back cover. I broke the plastic around the ear plug when I close the cover.
You know there's other suppliers and other brands?
