13 inch macbook pros go for more than that…. it's all relative.
There's a difference between MAC and PC users, PC users tend to be more value-conscious.
So let's look at PC examples that also fall in that range or higher:
Dell XPS 13
Lenovo X1
Asus zenbooksValue is pretty subjective. PC users are more price-conscious for sure.
Lenovo Yoga 3 i7 14" Laptop $1798 with Bonus Tablet.
So you get a free Panadol ?
Bloody hell LOL
This is the bonus tablet: http://www.harveynorman.com.au/unisurf-10-windows-16gb-table…
x86 windows on 1gb of ram, what could go wrong?
have these at work. runs relatively average sized spreadsheets slow as
JB Hi fi had an offer earlier of $1696 for HP Spectre360 4014tu i7 model far better than this lenovo. This HP laptop despite screen resolution beats lenovo yoga in every way..
Pretty sure this model is new in Aus. Yoga 3 Pro has been available for a while. Seems like this is a shade better than the Pro. Definitely considering it, but would prefer the matte black colour.
Worth remembering the $25 email coupon + $50 Amex cashback. $100 off in total (inc Office 365 cashback) so $1698.
If this was in the eBay 20% off I would be in.
links to get those please?
This model is also much heavier/less portable
This might be a better deal: http://www.harveynorman.com.au/lenovo-yoga-3-14-256gb-laptop…
From what I've read the i5 (processor itself) is not too bad in comparison to the i7. Given the separated graphics it would be even more comparable in this laptop. Worth the lower price for me.
Would be well under $1500 with the discounts.
I will wait until tomorrow to decide, just in case there is one last price drop or EOFY deal.
Just curious, how is this compared with Surface Pro?
I am so happy with my surface pro3, my little one uses it as an Ipad. I am just too busy to get on it. well, I did use it once to root my phone though.
That's a lot of money to spend on a 14" laptop.
