  Bought one. Thanks.
  It got a better review than JBL clip ii and said that the sound quality is quite comparable to BOSE soundlink mini.

    I deliberated on both Bose and Charge 2 in the end, as I wanted nice bass and not tinny sound.

    In the end I liked the Charge 2 had better battery life, less muddy bass (to my ears) and used standard micro usb to charge. You can also use the Charge 2 as a portable charger.

    There is now a Bose 2 which resolves a few of the above, however it's still $300.
