Looking for a new desktop replacment of my 7 year old work horse.

Any good for the price? ($849 + P&H)

not really, you are basically paying a pretty big price premium for the touchscreen display. The CPU and GPU is pretty hum-drum when it comes to performance, and they're also previous generation. Plus it's also a refurbished Acer computer…. meaning long term reliability is a bit of a concern with that one.

If you REALLY want the touchscreen display this one sounds a lot better value but again AIO's are a niche form factor and it's much harder to to justify the price especially when you consider that AIO's cannot be upgraded and are much harder to repair.

If you're looking for a compact system I'd be looking at perhaps an Intel NUC from eBay with a LCD monitor combo (remember to use code + cashback for 22% off), it's a more flexible option and also far easier to self repair should anything go wrong.

849 for an i3-U processor? no thanks.

Would have been a better deal to buy that laptop from a few weeks back, and buy an external screen.
