This promo might be good for those planning to stay on Amaysim for more than a month.
Basically, you get 1st month for $19.90. The next 3 months after that you get 10% off. So for Unlimited 2GB $27, Unlimited 5GB $40.50 or Unlimited 7GB $49.50 for 3 months thereafter
$10 credit for both referrer and referee for mobile plan.
The referrer must be an UNLIMITED mobile plan customer with auto-renewal turned on. Referee must sign up to an UNLIMITED mobile plan or AS YOU GO and activate the service. Referee needs to provide referrer with their email address.
PAYG sim from Amaysim and each recharge is valid for 90 days and add 1gig data pack for $10 each month.
Is this the only plan where the recharge can be any amount? The rest seems to have fixed monthly charges plus excess usage.
I think recharge can be $10,$20,$30 etc. No fix monthly charge.
1) Buy Pay as you go SIM using referral link. Add $10 credit + you'11 get $10 bonus for using referral link.
2) $10 credit will last for 90 days and use $10 (referral bonus) to buy 1 gig data pack which is valid for 30 days.
3) Next month add another $10 data pack.
Can you buy a PAYG sim, and then add 365 day expiry 10GB data plan on the same SIM, or do you need a separate SIM?
Have a look at spintel, you can make your own plan as required eg, low calls & sms, more data.
Who's service do they resell? Is it 4G capable?
The cheapest is going to be $21, which isn't terrible I suppose.
I just wish I got grandfathered on some of the really good under $20 plans from Live connected or TPG years ago. No one offers plans that good anymore.
Grandfather died at live connected, we all got bumped to more expensive plans.

@battler: Interesting. Didn't know they could do that. Legally you never signed up for the more expensive plans so I didn't think they could charge you more for something you didn't agree to.

Not worth my time or TIO's time fighting them. I voted with my feet.
Since all the Unlimited plans are the same $19.90 for the first month, can you start with the 7GB plan, then after that change to the 2GB plan?
Can anybody find a link where it states that you will receive the 10% off ?
When the code is entered, the only message that appears is : "Congratulations! You've successfully applied a promo: $19.90 for your first UNLIMITED xGB"
It's not that I don't believe the deal exists, I just want proof in case amaysim deny the deal existed after the first month ;-)

Does Amaysim have a support line or is it all email based?
Can anyone recommend a good cheap plan, post or pre paid that has 1GB+ of monthly data? I don't call much, I mainly need data. I don't want to pay $50, $40 or even $30 a month for lots of calls that I won't end up using. $60 these days gets you a good phone with it, if not a flagship, so I don't want to be paying $50 and get no phone thrown in.
But the data seems to only come with plans that have unlimited calls or $500+ worth of calls.
I could get a mobile broadband only sim, but I do need to make and receive calls as well so that's out…
