I use this with my HTPC, pretty decent range for an RF combo, no probs transmitting 3m or so.
And the battery life is as good as they say. The mouse comes with an Eneloop Rechargeable. I've charged it once in the 9 months I've owned it!

the first one i got for home was 2ndhand…the mouse had an eneloop inside and i'd always wondered if it actually came with the mouse, or if the guy had just forgotten about it and given me a bit of a freebie.

By the way is it me or Harvey Norman's price are really ridiculous?No it's not just you; I was definitely shocked by their high prices last time I was at one. Their customers must be the type to not shop around because Harvey Norman definitely isnt price competitive despite all their bluster, a bit like JBHiFi.
I remember I went their last year for their 'huge sale', but it was just the old pre-sale mark-up gag! I wouldn't bother with them again.

The mouse is nice, but the keyboard is a bit too spongie for my likeness. But then perhaps I am used to notebook keyboards too much.
