Has anyone used this size tablet before? Thinking of getting GF one but not too sure if it is too small..Maybe a good starter one for her to get use too.

Looks awfully small depending on what you plan to do with it.

  • She is a graphic designer. Used in indesign/Illustrator.

  • Gizmomart have a wacom bamboo for $89.95 + $15.95 shipping
    Are they the same???

    • i was just about to ask the same

    • Looks like the same thing in different colour!

    • Just watch out for the Wacom Bamboo vs. the Wacom Bamboo Fun. As I understand it, the major difference between the two is that the "Fun" version includes a mouse. There's also the size to consider.

  • Wacom have two range of tablets, professional and well kinda professional.
Intuos being the professional range and bamboo being the less professional range and the difference is mostly the sensitivity, pressure level and tilt..

This is first gen of Bamboo, I believe the second range is out, and this is the smallest size you can buy. Mikinoz link is to the second gen of bamboos.

this is definitely not a good deal, as the second gen is cheaper but this is literally useless because of it's size. I am assuming it's the smallest from the picture shown on ht.com.au

For anything even remotely serious 6x8 (medium) range is recommended.

remember the size of the tablet areas work directly with your screen, and bigger tablet will get you closer to 1:1 ratio with the screen.

Jake, this is much better for your GF
