  It's been a long time since we last saw a Nokia that failed to do the basics well, but the 6600 Fold fits this description. It looks great but, with poor call quality, the Fold is a dismal under-achiever

    i purchased the fold a few weeks ago and like it a lot…

    Call quality is NOT poor..

    Secondary display is excellent…

    yes there are no external volume controls… not a big deal for me

    2 megapixel camera… i use it as a phone, not a camera…

    The price above for the slide is as good as you will find on ebay, plus you get australian warranty….

  As a previous owner of this model, I found it to be one of the worst phones I have ever owned.
  Basic, problematic, camera was better than average for a 2MPixel, media player was painful to use, bluetooth audio was problematic, issues with the slide not answering calls from day 1.

    you can set slide to answering calls or not to answering the calls.

    cheapest wifi is virgin's 199$ E63.

    Not sure how much to unlock outside or their phone can be used on optus.
