    very rough buying for the money

    720p screen

    the qca 480 cpu is very very mid range - ie, older than the G54

    • Any alternative suggestions with dual physical sim at the price point?

      • motorola g84 maybe

        • Looks like it's $350… OW have it at $278, but no stock.

            @Balthraka: oops, sorry I didn't check stock.
            I think the Midnight Blue version was at the reduced price at JB (under $300) just 1 or 2 days ago as well. Probably wont be long until it gets discounted again.

      • Motorola G55 came in dual sim models, but I think AU got the esim+physical sim mix.
        If you can find an import that passes our drakonian whitelists, then that'd be my choice.

        • Damn. Sadly I'm in Aus…

          • @Balthraka: Moto are known for doing batch based IMEI numbering, so we should be OK with an import on that one.

    dont want AI photography else looks a decent deal with no nfc and no wireless charging - moto may be a better deal

      I wish.
      Having 5 platform options drop to 2 feels so limited today.

      Technology is starting to feel 'samey' to me.
